Interim Rule to ITAR increases registration fees - Federal Register Dec 8 2004

For those institutions performing work that is export controled under ITAR
and are registered as a munitions manufacturer, exporter/importer or defense
services provider --
The US Department of State has issued an Interim Rule increasing
registration fees from $600 annually to $1,750 annually. Additionally, the
maximum registration period has been reduced from four years to two years.
This rule is effective December 8, 2004.
Interested parties are invited to submit written comments to the Department
of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, Offic of Defense Trade
Controls Management, Attn: ITAR Regulatory Change, 22 CFR parts 122 and
129, 13th Floor, SA-1, Washington D.C. 20522-0112. Comments can also be
sent by email to xxxxxx@state.gov with the subject line: ITAR
