Hi Everyone;

My name is Patrick Klupa and I am a software developer at the Whitehead
Institute for Biomedical Research in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I have
been given the task of developing a way to electronically certify our
monthly effort reports. Our current effort reporting system consists of
maintaining expected effort for each person in the system and printing
out a report of this at the end of the month. The reports are manually
circulated and signed or corrected by handwriting on the reports.

I would like to hear from anyone that is currently certifying their
effort electronically. I would be especially interested in hearing how
you electronically handle situations where actual effort is different
