Assistant Director of Research Support Services

The College of Arts & Sciences of Oklahoma State University is currently
recruiting an Assistant Director of Research Support Services for the
College.  The Assistant Director reports directly to the Associate Dean
of Research, and is responsible for supervising the College Research
Support Services Office, which manages the pre-award aspects of proposal
preparation, routing, and submission to external agencies.  The
Assistant Director also advises and guides faculty on issues relevant to
the preparation and submission of proposals, as well as assist the
Associate Dean in issues promoting research and intellectual property
development within the College.  Minimum seven years experience in
grants administration including pre-award preparation and submission of
proposals to external agencies, comprehensive knowledge of sponsored
research activities, and an ability to provide information, guidance,
and training on contracts and grants for faculty and staff are strongly
preferred, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.  A master's degree
in a relevant field is required, with a doctoral degree preferred.
