Hello:

My first question to the list. I would appreciate your assistance.

I have reviewed the archives but cannot find any posts which specifically address this question.

We have a Federal equipment grant, awarded when our capitalization threshold was $500.  We have since increased our threshold to $2000.  Funds for contingency items were provided for in our award.  I have my first request for a single contingency item that is less than our current capitalization threshold but above $500.

Any input on whether this expense is allowable, with corresponding statutory / circular reference would be appreciated.
