Hello all,
Thank you for your very helpful comments in response to my recent
requests for information. I am coming to the forum once again for
insight on your institution's method for handling "research faculty"
(i.e., soft funded)  and how your institution may or may not continue to
support them in periods of low grant volume.

Our institution is looking at the creation of a "reserve account" from
which these individuals would be paid during gaps in grant funding. Have
you established something of that nature and if so, how did you fund it?
