I've just read over the Komen policy again, and although it sounds pretty
awful at first reading, it does say that they defer to the Institution's IP
policy (withsome limits); that they defer to government policy; and that if
an invention is jointly funded, they will work with the other sponsor(s) to
work out an acceptable method of disposition.
So, it looks like they have attempted to address some concerns.
So, depending upon what overlapping funding you might have, you might be
able to live with it.
