Cost sharing with Private Sponsors on Federal flow-through projects.

Our procedure is not to provide cost sharing when the sponsor is a
for-profit. We are having a discussion whether it is appropriate to
provide cost sharing in the following example.
Federal agency RFP that specifically requires a percentage of cost
sharing. A for-profit organization is taking the lead on the proposal
and the university is a subrecipient. The for-profit lead institution
requires that the university provide the required percentage of cost
sharing for the university's part of the budget.
We are cost sharing in return for the federal flowthrough dollars and
this seems like it should be ok. Any other thoughts?
