I sent this request earlier this month, but received no response. I
would really appreciate input on revising our Effort Reporting.
OMB A-21, Section J 8. states "incidental work (that in excess of
normal for the individual) for which supplemental compensation is paid .
. . need not be included in the payroll distribution systems . . .
provided such work and compensation are separately identified and
documented in the financial management system of the institution."
My question: How does your institution show incidental work in Time
and Effort Reporting (e.g., work completed on the weekend with agency
approval) if effort can only equal 100%?
Also, would you share your effort report forms with me by email or fax.
