Preaward (Office of Sponsored Programs) reports to the Dean, Graduate
Studies who reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. . .
Postaward (Office of Budget and Sponsored Programs - grants accountants)
report to the Vice President for Business and Finance.  However, to
accommodate one-stop-shop . . . .we now have the grants accountants
physically located in the Office of Sponsored Programs . . . their boss
is located in the same building, right above us.  Works beautifully.  J.

Currently our pre award is under Research and our post award is under
finance with different reporting up. Do other institutions also have
them split like this, or are they housed under a single grants
management dept?  And if they are blended, where do they report up to?
