The body of knowledge developed by the Certification Council is an excellent starting point for design of a program. I am a fairly inactive member now but the Council was always eager to work with any institution that might have an interest. What is needed for that kind of commitment from an institution is an assurance that there is need. This might be a worthy project for SRA for example. Once the numbers are there, activity will follow. Your idea Jennifer about distance learning would probably be the most efficacious for this purpose. I am sure there is great need but geographic considerations do come into play and reduce the numbers for any given institution unless there is a way to reach out across the country.
