We have had contracts in which overtime was explicitly allowed after
satisfactory justification. The same should apply to grants; just make
sure that the overtime is specifically indicated and justified in the
budget. A phone call to the grants officer before submitting budget would
be a good idea.
ANY cost approved in award (most awards based on proposals submitted) is
allowable. But keep records of approval!!
