Poster Submissions for SRA 2004 Dr. Edward Gabriele 12 May 2004 19:09 EST

Reminder: We are encouraging Notices of Intent and abstracts for
POSTERS for the 2004 Symposium as part of the October annual meeting of
the Society of Research Administrators International.

Submissions are not restricted to SRA membership. Submissions from
non-SRA members are strongly encouraged.

Full directions and time table:

posters/index.cfm.

Poster content must be an enrichment to the body of knowledge of
research administration (any of its subspecialties) or an advancement
of research administration as a profession (continuing education,
professional development etc).

Equally suitable approaches would be case studies, displays of metrics
of success, process improvement studies, or academic/theoretical
considerations.

Note: Use of posters as marketing advertisements for institutions is
restricted.

All poster submissions will be refereed. All submissions will be
considered for the 2004 Best Poster of the Year Award.

In brief, what is needed for the first step, a Notice of Intent?

Within the body of an email, send: a) Preliminary Title; b) Author list
(no more than four) with affiliations; and, c) a 3-4 sentence paragraph
summarizing what is being proposed and why it is of value for research
administration. Subsequent processes for abstract submission will
follow.

 Please send to: xxxxxx@earthlink.net.

As plans are now underway to finalize logistics requirements for poster
presentations, early submission of NOI's will help staff in determining
arrangements.

The 2004 Symposium has been very successful in terms of submissions for
papers. We are enthusiastic about equal successes with posters.

Looking forward to your submissions or those of other colleagues.
Please distribute this notice to any interested colleagues.

 Best regards,
 Dr. Edward F. Gabriele
