Dear colleagues:
For the past six months, I have been pinch-hitting in the
position described below. A certain amount of restructuring
is occurring that will (IMHO) be very positive for the
office, with a new Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, a
clearer focus for the Graduate College, a new Research Office
director in a new location, with an experienced student team,
an energetic new staff member, and an opportunity to build a
new "face" for the Research Office. What more could one ask
for? (Well, this one could ask for a chance to return
happily to my freelance academic editing/translation
business, much as I have missed you all for the past several
years. Please send in good applications so I can do that on
schedule!!)
