Syracuse University seeks nominations and applications for the position of Director of Regulatory Compliance. The Director of Regulatory Compliance is responsible for regulatory compliance issues for the University research community.

The successful candidate will:
·   Direct and manage all aspects of regulatory compliance issues for the University research community
·   Develop training and education programs in conjunction with University faculty and staff for all aspects of research integrity including misconduct in science.

The position responsibilities include:
·   The management of University research compliance policy, programmatic activities for human and animal subjects protections programs and other regulatory compliance areas.
·   Development and implementation of training and education programs in conjunction with University faculty and staff for all aspects of research integrity including misconduct in science.
·   Participation in external and internal inspections, audits, and preparation of management reports and operating procedures.
·   Interface with University radiation safety committee, Office of Environmental Health and Safety and other relevant administrative and research units on campus.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is required. However, a Master's degree is desired and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate should have a highly developed written and oral communication skills, ability to deal effectively with faculty and administrators, demonstrated familiarity with federal policies and procedures.
