My office and theVice Provost for Research and Graduate Studies are
asking for new position - Research Compliance Officer.  This position
will ensure compliance with federal, state and university regulations
and policies in grant administration.  This will include coordinating
and working with the IRB and IACUC committees, as well as other post
award duties related to compliance.  In FY 2003 we had a rpaid rowth in
external funding (from $6 million to $10 million in one year), and we
have become aware of the need for a compliance position.

We have the following questions for institutions that have awards
between $10 million and $15 million annually.

1.  Do you have a Compliance Officer, or a similar position?

2.  When was this positon established?

3.  What are the qualifications for this position?

4.  What is the salary range for this position?
