Data management in Sponsored Programs Office
Elaine Young 30 Jan 2004 09:41 EST
My university has gone to a PeopleSoft accounting system that includes a
grants module. The problem I'm having is that I need to produce
quarterly, annual, and other reports that contain information that,
while in PS, is not easily obtainable. I also need to be able to
produce a variety of information when my president calls and requests a
quick turnaround.
Does anyone out there have a database system that is easily searchable
and that they would recommend for a Sponsored Programs Office handling
the full range of grants and contracts(preferably a canned program that
I can purchase) and that makes the production of these reports less
onerous? An added benefit would be for it to directly populate NIH,
NSF, etc. forms.
Thanks for any help.
