Colleagues:

Our organization is faced with the need to obtain export licenses for
the first time and would appreciate any information, advice or anecdotal
experience from fellow colleagues who have also recently or are
currently going through the export control process (registration,
obtaining the license and establishing and maintaining a compliance
program).  Although we have received good advice from MIT and UAH on the
process in general, we would like to expand our base of knowledge to
include the specific experiences of schools/organizations; i.e.,
unexpected obstacles, administrative burden, utilization of external
resources, internal resources needed to set up and monitor the export
control program, etc.
