Re: Question about subcontracting Nichols, Michael 16 Dec 2003 14:56 EST

Ideally, the entire application should be reviewed to assess the needs
and ability of your institution and PI to deliver and perform in the
manner being proposed in the application. Also, if the application is
being submitted to a governmental sponsor, reviewing the entire
application will provide you with an opportunity to review the
requirements of that agency as well as predetermine compliance issues
related to publication, intellectual property, reporting, etc. prior to
giving your school's consent to participate.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Question about subcontracting

When your institution is being proposed as a subcontractor in an
application
being submitted by another organization, how much of the application do
you
expect to see before signing a Letter of Intent or similar document to
indicate your school's consent to participate?
