Review Committees that look at the research itself - design especially - and
make suggestions, can be very valuable if there is time for the suggestions to
be incorporated into the study before submission.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Faculty Advisory Group for Grants

There is a request at Capital University for faculty to be involved in
an advisory group for grants. We have a review committee that includes
the four deans or their representatives, who look at the impact of the
project on the university as well as the budgets. Do others have
advisory groups and, if so, how are they utilized?
