Hi,

Has anyone in pre-award gone with peoplesoft to manage their
proposals/grant awards? Our Sponsored Programs Accounting office has
been up and running for just over year now and are gearing up for the
8.4 upgrade this winter. My office did not go with the 7.5 version
because there was no benefit to the administrative operation. It
clearly was a financial system. For our office to produce the
management reports, ie grants management, proposal management, human
subjects, animals, bio safety, at the level of detail needed, we
would have had to maintain our existing databases along with
peoplesoft. I've been told that the 8.4 version is more conducive to
sponsored administration. If so I'd be interested to know if anyone
would be willing to share his/her experiences with me. If you choose
