Cost-sharing by a Chamber of Commerce
Thomas Murphy 16 Jun 2003 13:34 EST
The President of a local Chamber of Commerce is volunteering to provide - in his capacity as Chamber President - a considerable amount of effort to a service project. While the Chamber Presidency is an unpaid position, he is certainly providing professional services which should be of some value relative to cost-sharing on the grant we seek.
My question: Does anyone know where I might find salary ranges for paid CoC presidents? Does anyone have other advice how we might attach a dollar figure to his professional services? Just as The Chronicle of Higher Ed publishes university salary ranges each year, I thought someone might know of a similar source. The man in question asked us to develop and propose a figure. Thanks.
