Dear Colleagues:
For any who has been through a change in the limit considered equipment
(moving to the federal level of $5000 to be considered equipment), how have
you handled this change? In changing to $5000, most computers now become
"supplies". Do you expect the PI to pick up the additional indirect costs
out of their award budgets? Is there a "grace period"? Any advice on how
to implement this change would be appreciated.
