A faculty member here at USI is interested in doing a research project
that involves experimenting on rats.  We do not have an animal
laboratory here on campus.  He's interested in what other institutions
do when they want to keep 6-12 mice or rats for up to a week pending
euthanasia?  No experiments or interventions will be performed on the
live animals.  What is involved concerning approvals or permits?  He is
having trouble finding a supplier that will deliver here because of the
small amount of rats ordered.  Do you have any suggestions or helpful
