GRANTS SPECIALIST
Winthrop-University Hospital, located in Nassau County, Long Island, seeks individual with demonstrated ability for locating funding opportunities and obtaining external support. Ideal candidate will have relevant Bachelor's or advanced degree and at least 2 years related experience in a hospital/medical research setting. Knowledge of budget preparation, grant writing, federal/foundation/state regulations and grant processes also required.
You will assist faculty in identifying funding opportunities, prepare/update faculty interest database, review grant applications prior to submission, and work with our Biomedical Research Institute to increase grant support. Ability to successfully negotiate clinical trial agreements preferred.
