Last week a PI and 11 students flew to a conference.  The tickets were paid
for with funds from a NIDA research grant.  The airline had over booked and
seven of the students volunteered to take another flight in exchange for
receiving a $300.00 voucher each for future travel.  After checking with
the airline, we have discovered these vouchers are assignable to the
college or another individual.

We  would appreciate information how other institutions deal with
assignable vouchers received for airline travel that has been paid for with
grant funds.
