The following is a new position in EDC's Office of Sponsored Programs: GRANTS AND CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR (exempt position) Summary: The Grants Administrator assists the Assistant and Associate Directors in the administration of sponsored programs. Essential Functions: 1. Assist the Assistant and Associate Directors in the preparation of spreadsheets and analyses for proposals and projects. 2. Assist in the administration of the proposal preparation and award and subaward administration functions. 3. Prepare project estimates-to-complete for review. 4. Prepare fiscal reports for approval by Assistant and Associate Directors. 5. Responsible for accurate and timely data input to EDC's internal systems. 6. Maintain files as needed. 7. Respond to requests for documentation and information from project, center and business services staff. 8. Track specified project deliverables, and follow up with project staff as required. 9. Review Proposal Data Sheets for completeness and accuracy, ensuring that all required documents are included. 10. Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of EDC's policies and procedures, and funder agency's regulations and policies. 11. Assist in the documentation of policies, procedures and guidelines as required by Assistant and Associate Directors. 12. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned Qualifications: 3 years related business experience and Bachelor's degree required. EDC experience preferred. Detail-oriented and able to function in a fast-paced environment. Position requires strong organization, time management and communications skills. Desire to learn and ability to adjust to changing priorities will contribute to success in this position.
