The University of South Carolina has a position available for a
Sponsored Program Administrator.  The job description follows:

Grants Administrator I/Sponsored Program Administrator, Band 6,
$32,099-$45,072 Per Year. Sponsored Programs and Research. Vacancy
Number 021122.

Requires a bachelor's degree and three years of work experience in an
administrative setting. Also requires the ability to establish and
maintain effective working relationships with faculty, administrators,
and sponsoring agency personnel. Must have the ability to synthesize
relevant information and potential funding opportunities for
dissemination to faculty and staff. Microsoft Office skills are
preferred. Will provide administrative and consultative services for the
acquisition and management of the externally funded programs and
projects at the University of South Carolina. Will interpret, implement
and monitor the policies of federal, state, commercial and private
non-profit agencies as they impact the management of grants and
contracts. Will determine appropriate budgetary and financial management
of awards based on sponsor regulations and guidelines.
