Petra and RESADMers--
I've lifted cartoons from the Chronicle of Philanthropy, Chronicle of Higher Ed, a book of development-related cartoons our development director lent me, plus the New Yorker, newspapers, and anywhere else I happened to find them.
The next question, of course, is did I obtain permission to use them? Not exactly--I called this a fair use, since they were one-time reprints for educational purposes. Would that have stood up to a challenge? Probably not, but I don't do it anymore so I won't worry about it. Besides, there's no such thing as plagiarism in the grants business.
Yours in crime, Bill

Bill- could you tell us where you find the grant-related cartoons? These
can be very useful, as people will at least take the time to read the
cartoon, and it may hold their attention long enough to get other
information across!
