I'm a little late, but thought I would send on what we do here at Dartmouth.

We list awards and proposals by both PI & Co-PI, but $ values are counted for PI's only.  Also, when we do a count of the number of proposals or awards, we count each only once.  Co-PI's are listed in the detail for each department, with the title, etc., of the project, but no $ amount.

We also include an expense report. Expenses are handled differently, in that subcodes allow the splitting of expenses among the departments that are actually spending the money.  In that instance, Co-PI's may in fact account for some of the $ value.  (I'm not an expert on expenses, however, so don't rely too much on that bit.)
