dan---
just to make life even more difficult, i received a call from someone at the
new incarnation of sciencewise, which is expected to be resurrected in the
near future. i understand that it will be demo'd at ncura, and probably
other venues.
as to choices....we subscribe to COS, and another office in the university
provides access to IRIS. both seem quite comprehensive....i have used SPIN
and have faculty who come here and request it. i think the three are
comparable. faculty tend to prefer the one that gives them the most "hits,"
but i have found that this varies with the faculty member's ability to
define a search.
