Director of Research and Sponsored Programs

Texas Woman's University seeks a Director of Research and Sponsored Programs to supervise the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, and to develop and coordinate research and sponsored programs starting January 1, 2003.  Duties include identifying funding sources, assisting faculty with proposal preparation, insuring compliance with local, state, and federal research policies and procedures, monitoring awards, reporting on proposals and grants, and supervising staff in Denton and Houston.

Doctorate strongly preferred, master's degree is required. A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in all aspects related to preparation of grant proposals and follow-up of awards, preferably in college or university settings.
