I have been able to identify (with the help of the authors of our
ListServ
package) a setting which will reject all the Out of Office messages
being
sent to the list.  Hopefully this will limit some of the garb being sent
to
everyone!  It won't eliminate the messages sent directly to you after
you
post to the list, but at least the ListServ won't distribute them to all
1300 list members anymore...
