Auburn University's Office of Sponsored Programs has issued a position
announcement for a Contract Administrator.  The notice of the job and its

You will note that the announcement indicates that this is in a grade
10/12/14 career ladder.  If you click on the link for the grade levels, you
will see the compensation tables for the position.  A person does not
necessarily join the team at the lowest grade level.  Entry is dependent
upon experience and education.  The ladder is intended to allow for
internal promotions as time and performance dictate.  This allows us to
offer job improvement within the office and retain our best Administrators
instead of acting as a training camp for everyone else on campus.
