Audrey and RESADM-Lers, we have designated our provost as the authorized rep, so she logs on and certifies the proposal.  This procedure parallels our procedures with paper proposals.  Given the five day window to submit the e -signature, it works for us.

How does your institution handle the Electronic Signature release to NSF
Fastlane?

Did you register "authorized organizational representative" and that
individual actually signs in to Fastlane and does the final check and
release and their name and title appears on the signature line.

or does a designated individual in your SRO office, using as their authority
the signature checklist of approvals, including the authorized
organizational representative, do the final check and release - and their
name and title appears on the signature line.

 or some other way?
