Special Conditions:
Description:    Oversees management and operation of the Sponsored Programs
Accounting Office with annual awards totaling over $217 million.  This
office has primary responsibility for post-award administration, including
cash management, financial reporting, A-133 audit, effort reporting, fiscal
compliance and campus training.  Position will provide guidance in the
interpretation of existing policies and assist in the development/writing of
new policies and procedures related to sponsored administration.  The duties
of this position require interpersonal skills and excellent analytical and
problem solving abilities.
Required Qualifications:        Bachelor's degree in accounting or related
field with accounting emphasis.  At least four years of university and/or
 fund accounting experience, with at least three years experience
working in sponsored programs administration.
 Experience with federal, state and private funding agencies,
regulations and OMB circulars.  Excellent
 communication skills.  Demonstrated success in supervision of staff.
Preferred Qualifications:       Master's degree and/or CPA.  Experience with
large-scale, automated financial system.
