As a matter of policy, we do not list a sponsoring agency as an additional
insured and don't provide a specific reason as to why not.  However, there
was a case where we named an organization as an additional insured, but
stated on the certificate of insurance issued, with respect to contract xyz.

I understand by naming additional insured's causing a dilution of coverage
for the organization.
