Greetings! Hope all is well at COFC.
I remember awhile back - too many to maintain my dignity - on a flight
with a gentleman who ran a federal health lab that contracted with DHHS.
They had to come up with their own F&A rate, which I was surprised to
learn was significantly higher than the universities were. Their rate
was over 100% which begged the question of why we were being hammered by
the fed for our exorbitant F&A rates. He said we were the best deal around.
