Here is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the fastest growing
universities in the country.  Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton,
Florida is seeking a motivated team player to join the staff in the Division
of Research.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support faculty and staff in accomplishing the University’s research
mission.  Provide customer service to principal investigators (PI’s) seeking
grants and contracts to fund their research and other sponsored projects.
Sample listing of duties below.

·       Identify external funding sources
·       Review program announcements, interpret sponsors’ guidelines
·       Prepare and/or review proposal budgets
·       Help PI’s use electronic proposal submission systems (ex. FastLane)
·       Initiate, review, negotiate, and administer contracts/subcontracts
·       Assist and advise PI’s on award administration issues
·       Perform non-financial post award functions
·       Serve as a liaison between the university, PI’s, and sponsors
·       Participate in Division sponsored training or workshops

Qualifications

A Master’s degree and two (2) years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree and
four (4) years of experience in any combination of the following areas:
proposal preparation, budget development and review, grant/contract
administration, contract review and negotiation, post award administration,
or sponsored programs training.

Salary will be based on experience.
