The College of New Jersey has the following position open:

Grants Administrator
Office of Academic Grants and Sponsored Research

In a customer-oriented, integrated office, the Grants Administrator
conducts limited pre-award and all post-award research administration

Responsibilities:  assists in budget preparation; prepares and monitors
sub-contracts; establishes grant accounts, approves project
expenditures; guides the management of project financial activities;
maintains excellent communications with sponsors; ensures regulation
compliance; keeps and reconciles financial records; prepares reports,
including cost sharing and F&A; participates in site visits and audits.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, with at least
3 years grants administration experience; or Master’s degree in
business; excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication
skills; sound knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database
programs.  Substantial knowledge of research compliance regulations and
higher education experience is highly desired.

Starting Salary: $40,908
