Thank you for the response. Using a listserv is a new experience for me and
I was astonished when I realized my HELP message had gone to 1000+ people.
The message you sent to me has an attachment - an embedded image - that I
cannot open. Is it important?
Susan

I'll send my reply to the list here for everyone's benefit:
Remember that LISTSERV commands ("subscribe", "unsubscribe", "set resadm-l
...", "help", "info refcard", etc.) all get sent to xxxxxx@HRINET.ORG and
_NOT_ to xxxxxx@HRINET.ORG - - if you send them to the list's address, it
will get sent as a mailing list distribution to all 1200+ subscribers,
which results in you getting vacation emails for those members who are out
on vacation.

Subject: [RESADM-L] HELP!
YesterdayI sent a command (INFO REFCARD) that I thought would give me a
list of everything one could do with the listserv. Now I am getting
everyone's trivia - about twenty people told me they would be out of the
office!
Could you please reverse whatever I did.
Many thanks.
