 COORDINATOR, HUMAN SUBJECTS RESEARCH

The Office of the Associate Provost and Vice President for Research of
Auburn University is seeking candidates for the position of Coordinator of
Human Subjects Research.   This professional position will provide support
to the Institutional Review Board for Human Subjects (IRB) as well as
provide campus-wide leadership in developing and assuring that University
policies on research activities involving Human Subjects are in compliance
with federal/state/local laws and regulations.

The minimum qualifications are a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of
experience related to human subjects/IRB activities, or a Master's or Ph.D.
and 2 years experience.  Applicants should have knowledge of regulatory
requirements and research ethics for research involving human subjects,
strong organizational and written communications skills, and effective
interpersonal skills.
