I think it's always nice to see what the opposition is up to. Anyway, it seems
like everything we face has been delt with by the DoD contractors at some point.
Why struggle with the issue again? That's why I've maintained my NCMA membership
even though it's predominantly government/military/Defense contractor oriented.
For instance, about 6 years ago, NCMA ran their National Education Seminar on
electronic contracting. CAS was discussed over 10 years ago.
Here in north VA, we have 3 chapters within a 20 minute (non-rush hour) drive.
One chapter is predominantly DoD/Gov't employees. Another is DoD contractors,
and the third a mix of the two. I check the monthly chapter meetings to see if
anything is interesting. I haven't been to one in awhile.
