The Office of Sponsored Research Services at Florida State University has
an impending vacancy for a Coordinator, Research
Programs/Services.  (Position number 64285)

If you have the desire to move to sunny Florida and to work in a dynamic
Sponsored Research office at a major research institution, then this
opportunity may just be for you!  This position is located in Tallahassee,
Florida in what is commonly known as  the "pre-award" side of the Division
of Sponsored Research.

This position assists in all aspects of Sponsored Research activities,
including proposal preparation and submission; review, negotiation and
execution of awards and subcontracts; financial liaison; training;
facilitates close-out of projects, identifies funding opportunities and
establishes accounts. This position will also serve as back-up to a primary
administrative desk responsible for major funding agencies like NSF or NIH.

A Master's degree,or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience are
required.  (appropriate experience may substitute for the required degree.)

This position requires knowledge of or experience in contracting and
contract negotiations, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to
communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

The salary range for this classification and pay grade (A&P 3) is:
$29,570 - $66,700
