The University of Minnesota Office of Sponsored Programs Administration
(SPA) seeks applicants for the position of Sr. Grant Administrator. The
position involves negotiating complex contracts, grants, and
subcontracts, providing assistance to faculty and staff and sponsors in
the identification and resolution of problems at both pre-award and
post-award, serving as a resource in the monitoring of active grants and
contracts, interpreting specific award terms, assisting in the
development and processing of grants through the UMN computer-based
grants management system, reviewing proposals for accuracy,
completeness, and adherence to agency and University regulations, and
supervising staff.
The successful candidate will have substantial grants management
experience in pre- and post-award in an academic setting. Salary
$40,000-$60,000 commensurate with direct experience and accomplishments.
UMN received $450 million in extramural funding last year, and is the
19th largest recipient of NIH funding. UMN is an equal opportunity
