FW: Payment Management System User Training Classes Hansen, Debra 02 May 2001 16:23 EST
Are there any attempts being made to get this training provided in other locations across the country? It seems wasteful to have probably hundreds of Research Administrators/staff incurring the cost to travel to Rockville, M.D. for 1/2 day worth of training. Or am I missing something!! Classes will be held at the DPM offices in Rockville, MD. There will be a morning and afternoon class each day. Morning classes will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Afternoon classes will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Should the requests for training warrant, additional classes will be considered. Please register for the training classes by sending an e-mail to xxxxxx@psc.gov not later than June 1, 2001. Classes will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Upon registration, we will send you information on directions to the DPM offices and local accommodations. Grant recipients will be responsible for all travel, lodging, and subsistence costs. Sessions will feature "hands-on" training on system access, completing a payment request, performing account inquiries, requesting reports, and completing the PSC 272 Federal Cash Transaction Report. Time will be provided for questions, individual instruction, and meeting time with DPM Account Representatives. The grant recipient training classes conducted on April 26 were a great success. One important recommendation coming out of those classes was that attendees should insure they bring their Payment Management System user name and passwords to the class. This will save class time and insure proper system access. If the DPM staff can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to meeting and working with you. ====================================================================== Instructions on how to use the RESADM-L Mailing List, including subscription information and a web-searchable archive, are available via our web site at http://www.hrinet.org (click on "Listserv Lists") ======================================================================
