Whoops.  I have the new manual in my office.  I was going to go over it in a staff meeting.  The manual is completely revised in order to be compatible with Fastlane requirements.  You will need to look at it.

I just did a no cost extension on an NSF grant through fastlane.
Then I read in the Grant Proposal Guide that it was necessary to inform the Grants Officer in writing about the extension.  Is this necessary?
