I agree with Chuck but would add - you should ask your Human Resources office to
insitute a nepotism policy for future instances of this nature. Kari

Our state COI policy covers nepotism, se we do not have the problem.  I
feel quite sure that some PI's children work on other PI's grants, and vice
versa -- but that's not a violation of the statute.

My advice would be to treat children under the same policy you treat spouses.
