I'm trying to obtain access for one of our faculty to a rice data base
available through Monsanto/Pharmacia.

They have denied our changes to their agreement (providing for disclosure
"as required by law" and having the PI "acknowledge" rather than "agreeing"
to terms since he's not a party to the agreement), stating that they have
"500" agreements in place "as is."

If anyone has signed this agreement "as is," please e-mail me directly at
xxxxxx@utmem.edu and tell me how you get around public disclosure laws, etc.
