If your person is really new at the job, attending this workshop would seem to
me to be really daunting and discouraging.. It is hard to assimilate lots of new
and complicated technical information that is not intimately tied in with your
institutions activities. There is no point of reference. But maybe it is just my
poor brain that has this problem. Kari
