SPONSORED PROGRAMS OFFICER 1

The Ohio State University Research Foundation at is seeking a Sponsored
Programs Officer 1 to support the university's research activities. This
person provides support and assistance to Principal Investigators and their
staff in all aspects of proposal preparation and submission, and award
acceptance; interprets sponsor guidelines and University policies; assists
with proposal preparation; develops budgets; responds to sponsor inquiries;
composes and negotiates contract terms; monitors project accounts; assists
with problem resolution; and provides reports and other information to
colleges and departments.

Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent
combination of education and experience. We also seek someone with
experience in a research environment, research administration experience in
an academic setting and familiarity with budgeting/accounting, and
familiarity with Word, Excel and World Wide Web.  Proposed hiring range:
$32,000-$37,000. The university offers a full comprehensive benefits
package.
